I have wanted a daughter since I was a litter girl. When I was pregnant with my first child, I decided that it would be ok if I had a boy the first time although I kept praying for a girl. Thinking back at my talk with God, I just can’t believe that I actually tried to negotiate with him. God has shown me so many times that he knows what I need, even if I don’t.
I have been on a journey to simplify my life for the last few years. It feels as though it has become an addiction for me. Doing an attic declutter during Christmas chaos sounded like a good idea in my head, but I am famous for biting off more than I should chew so this was normal for me. Sometimes I find the urge to declutter during the strangest times like in the middle of the Christmas chaos so Let The Decluttering Begin.
Christmas was right around the corner. There were so many things to get done, but at the top of my list for the day were the decorations. So I climbed into the attic to begin my yearly journey, hauling big boxes that were overflowing with decorations back down the stairs without breaking my neck. I had to pick and sort through all of the Christmas boxes to find the ones that I needed. There was just so much stuff. My snowman collection was taking over.
